MainstreamBIO Capacity Building Workshop on Circular Bioeconomy Opportunities
On June 13th, 2024, our partners RISE will host a workshop focused on circular bioeconomy opportunities, featuring keynote talks and a site visit to the Bioeconomy Arena in Sweden. This event (held at Hörneborgsvägen 10, 892 50 Domsjö, Sweden) will explore crucial topics such as circularity indicators and frameworks, track and traceability principles, small-scale bio-based solutions, and digital tools designed to support biomass producers.
The workshop aims to identify new bioeconomy opportunities brought forth by the sister European project BioReCer. Gathering policy makers, business leaders, academics, and social actors from the region, the event will provide a platform to discuss, identify needs and limitations, and explore ways to promote bioeconomy and implement the project results.
A key session will explain MainstreamBIO’s digital toolkit, ensuring participants understand its functionalities and benefits. The Bioeconomy Arena site visit will offer practical insights into bio-based innovation, showcasing Sweden’s leadership in the field.
