MainstreamBIO participates in EU Commission’s Rural Pact Support Office Policy Action Lab
MainstreamBIO project will be actively participating in the upcoming Policy Action Lab, organized by the European Commission’s Rural Pact Support Office. Taking place on Thursday, September 19th, this important event will bring together key stakeholders from across the EU to explore how rural communities can harness opportunities from the green transition.
The Policy Action Lab will focus on key themes including:
- Reflecting on the challenges and opportunities for rural areas in the green transition
- Enhancing bottom-up approaches to financing and territorial tools like LEADER/CLLD and Smart Villages
- Boosting dialogue between policymakers and practitioners at all levels
With a targeted audience of policymakers, civil society organizations, local authorities, and research bodies, this event will foster in-depth discussions on how rural areas can leverage the green transition for sustainable growth. MainstreamBIO will contribute by sharing insights from our work on rural bio-based solutions and fostering innovation in rural regions.
