Successful Completion of MainstreamBIO Scale-Up Workshop in Denmark
On September 17th, 2024, MainstreamBIO successfully hosted its scale-up workshop in Denmark, titled “Lowland Soil Harvesting and Workshop in Relation to Tripartite Agreement.” The event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to wetland, lowland, and paludiculture biomass harvesting, with a focus on sustainability, climate impact, and biodiversity.
The workshop kicked off with a demonstration of a specialized harvester designed for lowland and wetland biomass, followed by presentations from experts who shared insights on biomass use, logistics, and the environmental impacts of these practices. Key stakeholders offered perspectives on how this technology affects climate, emissions, and local biodiversity.
