MainstreamBIO is excited to announce its last webinar on May 16th, focusing on “Bioeconomy Tools to Support Primary Producer Participation in the Bioeconomy” This webinar aims to empower primary production sectors, including farmers, fishermen, foresters, and horticulturists, with practical strategies and digital tools to integrate into the bioeconomy value chain.
Specialists in bioeconomy development will cover a range of topics, including the introduction of MainstreamBIO tools and repository for supporting primary producer participation, the role of cooperatives, financing bioeconomy in rural regions, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about available resources and funding sources for bioeconomy implementation in rural and coastal communities.
The webinar will also highlight the BioRURAl toolkit, designed to support primary producers in rural regions, and discuss the different public and private funding sources for bioeconomy implementation. Attendees will gain insights into supporting tools such as feedstock mapping, value chain selection, biomass trading platforms, and knowledge platforms, essential for integrating primary producers into the bioeconomy value chain.
