MainstreamBIO’s 5th General Assembly successfully completed!
This week, MainstreamBIO held its 5th General Assembly in Madrid, hosted by our partner Innovarum. The event brought together representatives from all project partners to reflect on progress and strategize for the final year. Discussions focused on the seamless progress of the project, including updates on innovation support services designed to foster bio-based solutions, the ongoing second round of awareness-raising campaigns across Europe, and the impactful scale-up and mutual learning workshops that aim to accelerate bio-based solutions.
The event included a Mutual Learning Workshop organized by Innovarum and a guided visit to El Capriolo Agroturismo, a unique family-run agrotourism business in the beautiful village of Garganta de los Montes. Participants were given the opportunity to learn about sustainable farming and livestock management in a highly engaging and interactive way. The farm not only serves as a hub for agrotourism but also as an educational space where visitors of all ages, particularly families, can explore traditional farming practices blended with innovative approaches. The visit provided valuable insights into how rural businesses can create economic opportunities while promoting environmental sustainability and community engagement.
With less than a year remaining, the project is progressing smoothly and MainstreamBIO remains committed to all of its goals!
Stay tuned bio-enthusiasts!
