AgriLoop Project, an international project with partners from across Europe and China, is dedicated to developing sustainable processes that transform agrifoodresidues into high-value, eco-friendly products suitable for applications in food, feed, and biobased materials.
During the meeting, Evangelia showcased the MainstreamBIO’s approach to offer innovation support services to regional stakeholders in order to get small-scale bio-based solutions into mainstream practices across rural Europe, as well as some impressive preliminary results from the 1st year of the project!
In the same session BioRural and Brilian projects were also presented, with the shared objective of fostering synergies among the projects.
BioRural project aspires to establish a pan European Rural Bioeconomy network. Through this network, stakeholders will collaborate to promote existing small-scale bio-based solutions in rural areas, ultimately increasing the share of bioeconomy.
Brilian project aims to support the adoption of sustainable and cooperative business models in rural areas, to incorporate agricultural by-products valorisation, seeking to increase and diversify primary producers’ income.
Stay tuned for more updates as we join forces to shape a future marked by sustainability and biobased solutions.
