The conference assessed how clusters can play a major role in the design, implementation and ongoing monitoring of regional development policies and programmes, emphasising on smart specialization.
During the event, Evangelia Tsagaraki presented MainstreamBIO’s approach to offer innovation support services to get small-scale biobased solutions into mainstream practices across rural Europe.
Moreover, all 4 sister projects, MainstreamBIO, BioRural, RuralBioUp and SCALE-UP, alongside many more bioeconomy projects, had the opportunity to share experiences and collaborate between them, fostering synergies for future activities.
